Celebrate Art and Animals with Seaside Art Gallery this February

dog painting Art lovers and animal lovers alike will enjoy visiting Seaside Art Gallery this February. Located right here in Nags Head, the gallery is hosting its annual Animals in Art Show throughout the month. A wonderful way for pet owners to give back through art, a portion of each animal themed art purchase will be donated to the Outer Banks SPCA. From paintings to sculptures, animation art to jewelry, the gallery floor will be home to a wide array of one-of-a-kind animal art pieces.

The Reception

Staying with Surf Side Hotel on Thursday, February 11? We recommend stopping by Seaside Art Gallery to mingle with members of the community and check out the art pieces available during the Animals in Art Show reception. Held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the reception is open and free to the public and refreshments will be available. Enjoy an evening of art while experiencing what the Outer Banks community is all about and helping to care for area animals in need.

The Artists

With artwork from local and national artists alike, there are pieces that will speak to any visitor’s taste. Whether you are a fan of Walt Disney Studios animations, miniature paintings or wildlife art, there is sure to be something you will want to display in your home!

Not visiting the Outer Banks until later this spring? Pieces from the Animals in Art collection will also be available for purchase online from February 1 to February 29.

The Gallery

The Outer Banks’ first art gallery, Seaside Art Gallery has been open since 1961. With 12 rooms of art and year-round events, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy local and nationally-known art pieces. Who knows, maybe you will find the perfect painting for above your mantel?
