Everyone is Irish at Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

St. Patrick's Day CelebrationOne of the most exciting celebrations on Nags Head is just a few months away and whether you are Irish or not, everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations on St. Patrick’s Day! Take part in the Outer Banks festivities on March 12 and 13, 2016 with Kelly’s Running of the Leprechauns 10K and their 26th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Located less a ten minute drive from Surf Side Hotel, Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant & Tavern is the place to enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day.

Kelly’s Running of the Leprechauns 10K

Put on all your favorite green attire and race around Nags Head on the morning of March 12, 2016 during Kelly’s Running of the Leprechauns 10K. The race begins at Kelly’s at 8 a.m. and finishes there as well with a delicious buffet including a variety of St. Patrick’s Day favorites like Irish soda bread, sweet potato biscuits and green beer! Registration begins soon, so check back on the race’s Facebook page regularly to learn when you can sign up to support the Outer Banks Community Foundation.

Kelly’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Take part in one of our favorite Outer Banks traditions at the 26th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Nags Head. Hosted by Mike Kelly and Kelly’s Restaurant, the festivities begin at 1 p.m., so be sure to find a spot along the parade route ahead of time. After the parade has passed through, head down to Kelly’s for the award show, live music, entertainment and free hot dogs.
