5th Annual OBX Brewtag

The Soundside Event Site
6800 S Croatan Hwy
Nags Head, NC 27959
October 26, 2019 from Noon to 6pm

The best part – OBX Brewtag will donate 50% of all proceeds from this year’s event to Hurricane Dorian Relief efforts on Hatteras Island and Ocracoke Island.

A celebration of flight and beer, OBX Brewtag is modeled after the whimsical and entertaining Red Bull Flugtag, which translates from German to “Flying day.” With OBX Brewtag, the general premise is the same; however, rather than human-powered flying machines, Brewtag contestants compete to see who can launch and fly an empty 1/6 keg barrel the farthest.

The cost to compete at OBX Brewtag is only $50 and the sky is the limit as to how creative your homemade flying contraption can be! Individuals and teams are welcome.

The Beer Garden offers a wide selection of local and regional craft beer. Food is also available for purchase that day. This family-friendly event will also feature plenty of activities for the kids in the Kid Zone!

The 5th Annual OBX Brewtag offers a VIP experience, which includes an event T-shirt, commemorative pint glass, and specialized tastings with various craft breweries. Supplies are limited!

All proceeds from the OBX Brewtag benefit The Rogallo Foundation. More info can be found HERE.
