This September, celebrate the area’s unique history by attending the Lost Colony Wine and Culinary Festival. This afternoon event will appeal to foodies, wine lovers and history buffs alike. Occurring for the second year, this festival is quickly becoming a favorite event for locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy stunning coastal views of what one of the Roanoke colonists called “Goodliest Soile under the Cope of Heaven” while pairing local delicacies with a variety of wines from all over the globe. Discover the fascinating and mysterious story of the first English settlement in North America while touring the backstage of the Lost Colony, which is renowned as the longest-running outdoor drama in the United States.

This year’s Lost Colony Wine and Culinary Festival takes place on Saturday, September 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lost Colony, located at 1409 National Park Drive in Manteo, North Carolina.

General admission tickets are just $60. VIP tickets at $85 get you VIP parking, entrance to the private VIP lounge and an extra hour of tasting beginning at 1 p.m. Make sure to be safe and designate a driver—designated driver tickets are just $25.
