Calling all foodies and seafood lovers! The Outer Banks has some amazing offerings coming up for Fall Restaurant Week and Oystoberfest.
Fall Restaurant Week 2017 begins Friday, October 27 and runs through Saturday, November 4. Local chefs from some of the area’s best restaurants will be serving up all kinds of delicious cuisine. There are no tickets or advanced purchases necessary – just show up and order off the Restaurant Week menu! Visitors can enjoy a three-course lunch or dinner at participating restaurants at a fixed price of either $20 or $35. (Please note that sales tax and gratuity are not included in the prix-fixe price).
On Saturday, November 4th, come on down to Southern Shores Crossing Shopping Center from noon to 3:00 pm for the 2nd annual Oystoberfest event! Watch local and regional oyster farmers shuck oysters, and then sample and enjoy! Several Outer Banks restaurants will also be offering oyster dish samples. To wash it down, there will be six North Carolina craft beers to enjoy. For just $45 in advance online or $50 at the door, you can enjoy all you can eat raw and steamed oysters, prepared oyster dishes, and craft beers. Non-beer drinking tickets for just $35 in advance online or $40 at the door are also available. Non-beer ticket holders may purchase their own wine, mixed drinks, or soft drinks inside Coastal Provisions Market.
