Family Friendly Value 😀 - Good breakfast and friendly staff. The beds were comfy and the front desk even got our room ready earlier for us since we made good time on our drive. 😞 - The outdoor pool water was cold but that was mainly due to colder weather and windy conditions.

Great stay! 😀 - The staff were all kind and helpful. Our room, even though not on the oceanfront, had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. The breakfast food is delicious, as are the warm chocolate chip cookies at night!

great spot to enjoy the Outer Banks 😀 - great location-facilities we’re good-xtra like breakfast, social hour and nightly cookies were a plus. staff was very friendly and accommodating-would definitely return and recommend to others.

Great location, fun hotel I loved this hotel! Delicious breakfast, great view, and very comfortable. I enjoyed the wine and cheese and cookie socials, plus having an indoor and outdoor pool was nice, since it was a little breezy out. I would definitely stay her again, and i hope to do that soon!

Getaway I getaway break just because we need a break. And just to relax and be on the beach listening to the ocean wave. Was able to walk on the beach look around at the shop that they had. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

Our favorite hotel! Everything was wonderful! My wife and I were down there for a wedding in manteo and had a little kid free getaway. Easy check in. Awesome employees. Beautiful room and great location. We will always return to surf side!

Fantastic 2 night stay We had a fantastic time staying here. The hotel is so clean, and the staff is wonderful. Our room was great and the view was so beautiful. There will not be any other hotel in Nags Head NC we would ever consider.

Loved the loft room! Room was perfect for our family girls’ trip! Loft room allowed some privacy while keeping us all together. Room was very clean and we had fresh towels every day. Weather was very windy limiting our time on the beach but the indoor pool gave grandkids some water time.

I selected Surf Side because the reviews were so very good. Our experience there was no exception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can not think of anything to improve upon.

We’re regulars - always a great stay Always a pleasant experience. This is our 9th year of returning to SSH, and won’t be our last. The only thing I could think of to improve the experience would be to add an EV charger…there’s a SERIOUS shortage of them down here.

Very friendly staff! Comfortable, family atmosphere! Met someone on the housekeeping staff that had worked at the hotel since the 1980's. To me that says a lot about the property and its management.

Anniversary get away !! Check in is 4 , not any sooner. Room was nice and clean. Side view of ocean. Patio had 2 chairs but no table. Wonderful outdoor pool for these hot days. Easy access to beach. Breakfast very good!!

Staff was very friendly an accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Had complimentary washer and ice machine for your coolers. Would have likes to see more vending choices.
